    Maureen from NJ Asked

We are staying at the Grand Floridian the first week of November. Will the gingerbread house be up when we are there?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Maureen! Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your vacation planning process to the Walt Disney World Resort! We are so glad you have come to see us!

The dates for the gingerbread house installation at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa have not been announced yet. Typically, they start working on it the first week of November and it is finalized the second week. At least, that was the case last year! This super popular holiday display stands 14 feet tall in the lobby of Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and it is everyone's favorite! Watch the super talented team of pastry chefs assemble it in this video from last year.

The official dates are normally announced on the Disney Parks Blog, which I encourage you to visit frequently. Who knows? Maybe it'll happen sooner this year!

I hope this is helpful, Maureen! If you have more questions regarding your stay at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa or anything else about your upcoming vacation, do not hesitate to come back!

    See ya real soon!

Meet the Panelist: Desiree, Peru

Hi! I'm Desiree from Lima, Peru. My family will never ever tire of visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, even if means traveling almost 3,000 miles to do so! My husband and I love to watch the fireworks with our kids, but the best magic happens when the grandparents come along and we all feel the same age in front of Cinderella Castle! I love giving tips about different types of resorts and traveling with multigenerational groups.
