We are staying at the Grand Californian for a few days. I'm excited to eat at Napa Rose! What can you tell me about the Chef's Table experience? Would you recommend it over sitting in the dining room? How far in advance can I make reservations?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Eean!

Oh, the delicious food at Napa Rose...I'm salivating just thinking about that restaurant. I'm so glad to hear you're interested in the Chef's Counter at Napa Rose. I have dined in Napa Rose's dining room, as well as Carthay Circle where Chef Andrew Sutton is also the Executive Chef. The food at Napa Rose is wonderful, and the menu changes with the seasons too. It is a great place for celebrating special occasions or just a romantic night out.

I have never experienced the Chef's Counter, but have done Chef's Tables before, including the adults-only dining experiences at Palo and Remy on Disney Cruise Lines. I'm sure you will have a splendid time at Napa Rose, regardless of whether you splurge for the Chef's Counter or indulging in the dining room.

Two great websites I enjoy for honest dining reviews are Disney Tourist Blog and Disney Food Blog. They both have detailed reviews for Chef's Counter at Napa Rose that I suggest you take a look. Very informative! This will definitely be on my "must-try-next-time-at-Disneyland-Resort-list".

Because there are very limited seating each night for Chef's Counter, I highly recommend you make a reservation as soon as you know your travel dates. Please call (714) 781-DINE (up to 60 days prior to your visit) to make your dining room or Chef's Counter reservation.

If you have further questions, please visit me on the Panel again!

    Bon appétit,

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

I am a wife and mother to 2 children, a 14 year old daughter and 9 year old son. I have always enjoyed going to Disneyland Resort as a child and now that I am a mother, I love watching my children experience Disneyland Resort through their eyes. It is a true delight seeing my daughter wear a ball gown walking side by side with Cinderella or my son jumping gleefully after he defeated Darth Maul in a light saber duel! Learn More About Kiki
