We are staying at GF for a conference in Nov for my husbands work. Our twin 6-yr old daughters will be coming along. What type of room is the best to request so we have views of fireworks as well as close to the activities at the resort?

Hi Robin, What a wonder vacation for your daughters! When I stayed at the Grand Floridian, i stayed in a Magic Kingdom view in Boca Chica. This was a great building because we were near the main pool but far enough away to have some quiet. At this pool you could also play ping pong and other activities were scheduled throughout the day. The beach pool has a slide and waterfall and is located next to the beach. Here you can play in the sand as well or swing in a hammock. We also could easily stroll to the main building to ride the monorail or hop on a bus to tour for the day. Plus the restaurants are located here except for Narcosse's which is in a pavilion next door. Narcosse's pipes the music for fireworks outside so you can watch from your balcony and hear the music like you are inside the park. Wishing you a magical trip! Beth
