If we are staying at the FW cabins, can we swim at the Fort Wilderness Hotel pool?

    Hi Laura,

Fort Wilderness and the Wilderness Lodge are two completely different facilities. Guests at Fort Wilderness are not permitted to use the pool at the Wilderness Lodge. Depending on where you're staying at FW, it could be a walk of over a mile away to get to the Wilderness Lodge, so it wouldn't be particularly convenient even if it were allowed.

There are several wonderful pools at Fort Wilderness which have slides and dedicated water play areas for young children. Frankly, if you have kids, they would probably prefer the pools at Fort Wilderness to those at the Lodge. FW also has a range of other wonderful outdoor activities including fishing, boat rentals, tennis, biking, and more. It's a terrific vacation spot!

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know what else we can do to help.
