I am staying at French Quarter and I needed to know if my plane leaves Orlando at 7pm and on my last day i will be at MK when should I leave MK to get back to the resort to catch the express bus to go back to the airport?

    Hi Sheri!

You're going to LOVE Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter Resort.

Having time to spend in the parks before boarding your plane home is a great bonus on your last day in the magic. Be sure to process your check-out out of your room before you head in to the parks, and check your bags in with Bell Services in the lobby area. They'll give you claim tags with which to pick up your bags when you return to board your Magical Express Coach to Orlando Int'l Airport.

You'll find that on your last night at the resort, an envelope from Disney's Magical Express will be placed under your room door or hung on your door knob. In it you'll find a letter detailing your scheduled pick-up time for the service the following day. It's usually about 2 - 3 hours prior to your flight time. Once you know your pick up time, I'd definitely recommend that you plan to be exiting the Magic Kingdom gates 60-75 minutes prior to that time, to allow for bus wait and travel time back to your resort. This should get you back to French Quarter in time to collect your bags, grab a last refreshment or treat from Sassagoula Floatworks, and be ready to board your coach.

As a "guesstimate," I'd say you can likely plan to be able to enjoy Magic Kingdom until about 3:00pm on your departure day.

If you haven't received the Magical Express information letter by the time you're heading in to the park in the morning, stop by the front desk and a Cast Member will check on your coach time for you.

I hope you have a Magical time at Walt Disney World Sheri!
