    Mark from LA Asked

Staying at Fort wilderness and would like to know when campsites start decorating for Halloween, Going early October and would like to bring decorations if it is common practice at that time. Thanks for your help.

Boo to you, Mark! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

One of the great things about staying at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is the amazing creativity of the campers. You're likely to find plenty of personalization at the campsites any time of year, but they really ramp it up for the holidays. And Halloween at "the Fort" truly brings out the spooky fun.

The closer we get to Halloween the more ghosts and goblins you'll see haunting the Fort, but rest assured early October is not at all too early to get your scare on. As I write to you here in mid-September, I'm quite sure the campers are busy putting up pumpkin inflatables and stringing their golf carts with cobwebs and orange lights. Plus, the Magic Kingdom Park has already kicked off Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, so you know the campers won't be far behind!

I hope you have a ton of fun decorating your part of the pumpkin patch, Mark. Have a wonderful Walt Disney World vacation, and a spectacularly spooky Halloween!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
