Staying at Fort Wilderness Cabins with DDP. Trail's End To Go is a counter service to take away only. Is there a child's menu? Would they get the same big portions as DH and me? I hear great things about their fried chicken!

    Hi Jennifer,

The Trail's End Restaurant offers take from 4:30 - 9:30 pm on Sunday through Thursday and from 4:30 - 10:00 pm on Friday and Saturday.  They have large cheese or pepperoni pizzas, Giddyap and Go which includes 10 pieces of fried chicken, fries, cole slaw, and biscuits for four people, and the Lone Rider which includes two pieces of chicken, cole slaw, and a biscuit, and Buffalo Chicken strips served with blue cheese and celery.   The children's menu does not have a "To Go Menu"  but you could order a cheeseburger or macaroni and cheese.  There is also a buffet service during dinner as well which will include soup of the day, chili, salad bar, peel and eat shrimp, vegetables, pork ribs, fried chicken, hand-carved roasted meats, pizza slices, fresh catch of the day, and home-made fruit cobbler.  I know you will have a magical time at the Fort Wilderness Cabins!
