We are staying at DVC VGF in Sept. I'm able to make our dining reservations 180 days out but they aren't allowing me to make FP's till 30 days out. Why is that when I am staying on property so it should be 60 days out for our FP's.

    Hi Wendy!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for bringing us your question. Not to worry, as long as you have ticket media linked to your reservations, you should not have difficulty making FastPass+ selections at the 60 day mark. With a check-in date of September 27, 2015, you may begin reserving FastPass+ selections on July 29, 2015. I like to use a website called PS Calculator or Planning Strategy Calculator to help me calculate my dates, because sometimes that can trip folks up as well. Until that 60 day date, when you access your My Disney Experience Account it will look like you can only make selections at the 30 day mark. Once the clock rolls over from July 28, to July 29, your window will open, and the screen will change, allowing you to make your FastPass+ selections! Usually the window opens at midnight eastern time, and this is how it has always worked for me. I have had a few folks tell me in passing that sometimes it opens later if the Magic Kingdom is open late that night, so if it does not work right at midnight, the window opening may be delayed a few hours.

I hope this information sets your mind at ease that the window will open for you on your 60 day mark. Please let us know if there are any additional questions the Moms Panel can help you with as you get closer to your trip!

Sending you extra pixie dust for FastPass+ luck!
