We are staying at Disney's Vero Beach Resort, are we eligible to get the dining plan while staying at this resort, we are hoping to do a few days in the park during this time. Thank you

Hi there, Jamie! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for stopping by with your question regarding Disney’s Vero Beach Resort!

Disney’s Vero Beach Resort is a Disney Vacation Club Resort that offers an oceanside escape along the stunning Atlantic Coastline. For those that are looking for exciting ventures, there are an assortment of recreation activities available for your enjoyment. Some of these include golfing, tennis lessons, water sports, and bike rentals. There are also adequate opportunities to relax with beach front loungers, an evening snack at The Green Cabin Room, and luxurious body therapies at The Spa at Vero Beach. All of these amenties are available just two hours away from Walt Disney World Resort, too!

The Disney Dining Plan is only available to Guests staying on-site at Walt Disney World Resort Hotels. Since Disney’s Vero Beach resort is not a Walt Disney Resort Hotel, you will not be able to purchase the Disney Dining Plan with this stay. However, I may have a helpful recommendation for you! One of my favorite parts of the Disney Dining Plan is the ability to charge my dining purchases to one easy place. If this is a preference of your’s as well, I would recommend purchasing a Disney Gift Card to use on your dining purchases. This way, you will have a set budget to be used on your dining experiences and, best of all, Disney Gift Cards can be used both at Walt Disney World and at Disney’s Vero Beach Resort.

Hopefully this has provided you with a good alternative for your dining needs! Have fun on your Disney beach vacation!
