I am staying at Disney's Polynesian resort. We are driving there. I know I have to pay $24 a day for parking. If I drive to Animal Kingdom will I have to pay for parking?

Hi Heather. Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is my absolute favorite resort on Walt Disney World property. You are in for a real treat!

There are many benefits to staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel.  Some of my favorites include early access to FastPass+ planning, Extra Magic Hour benefits and complimentary parking at the Walt Disney World Theme Parks and Water Parks.  That's right, as long as you are a registered Guest at one of the Walt Disney World Resorts, you won't need to pay for parking at the parks.  However, don't forget, that included with your stay is complimentary transportation to and from the parks via the buses, boats and monorails.  I love leaving my car behind and being fully immersed in the magic!

While you're staying at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, be sure to stop by the Pineapple Lanai right outside of the great Ceremonial House. There you'll find one of my favorite sweet treats - the pineapple float! Swirled pineapple and vanilla soft serve ice cream topped with sweet pineapple juice, just wow! Nothing says tropical vacation like this dessert.

I hope you have a great time staying at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. If you have any other questions, please come back and ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
