    Kristi from UT Asked

We will be staying at the Disneyland Hotel, can I purchase parking permit before or do we have to wait to get there?

Hello, Kristi! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for your question!

Yay! You are going to LOVE staying at the Disneyland Hotel! I have stayed at all three Disneyland Resort Hotels, but we keep coming back to the Disneyland Hotel because of its charming décor, amazing dining options, and incredible pools. At this time, you can’t pre-pay for parking at the Disneyland Resort Hotels. When you check-in, you will be asked if you are parking a car and then the cost will be added to your stay which is currently $20 per night for self-parking (although subject to change at any time). Keep in mind that when you park at the hotel, you can leave your car parked until midnight on the day you check out. So feel free to enjoy the parks to the fullest on your last day!

Don’t forget to take advantage of Extra Magic Hour every day of your stay. As a Disneyland Resort Hotel Guest, you can enter Disneyland Park one hour early on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and Disney California Adventure Park one hour early on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. This extra hour is absolutely invaluable because you can see and do so much first thing in the mornings. The crowds are so low that, on a few occasions, my family and I have been the only ones riding certain attractions early in the morning. It’s kind of fun to be able to tell your child to pick any tea cup they want on Mad Tea Party because we were the only ones there.

Please stop by again if you have any other questions. Have a magical day!
