We are staying at Disney Swan the first night of our stay but will be at Pop Century for the remaining 8 days. Will Disney Swan transfer our luggage to Pop?

We're glad you dropped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Julie! It sounds like you have a magical vacation planned to visit Mickey and his pals soon!

Staying at two different resorts during your time at Walt Disney World Resort is what is referred to in "Disney speak" as a split stay.  I've done it myself a few times, especially if I am arriving late at night. In the morning, simply take your luggage to the Bell Services desk at the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel and let the team know you need it transferred to Disney's Pop Century Resort. The transfer is a complimentary service, and it will only cost you a gratuity to Bell Services.

It's important to note, however, that luggage transfers usually happen later in the day. I learned this the hard way once, and I ended up going to dinner at California Grill in my theme park clothes! So don't be like me, and make sure to take any necessary items with you just in case. I tell my Mouseketeers to pack their swimsuits in their drawstring park touring bags so we can head to the pool at our second resort in the afternoon (speaking of...the Hippy Dippy Pool is really groovy).

The last time I did a split stay, I used the Lyft app to arrange for Disney's Minnie Van Service to pick me up at my resort. The driver put all of our bags in the back of the vehicle, stopped at our second Walt Disney World Resort hotel and waited while I checked our bags with Bell Services there, and then dropped us off at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Easy peasy, and well worth the money spent!

We hope you have a wonderful time, Julie! If there's anything else we can do, remember we're all ears!

Hi, I'm Eean from Pennsylvania!  I may have an unusual name, but my passion for Disney is not unique.  It’s amazing how many people you can find who love talking about, "The Most Magical Place On Earth!"  I'm that mom who always has her ears perked at PTO meetings, in the grocery store aisle, or at middle school basketball games waiting for an opportunity to give someone a planning tip to help make their vacation even more magical.
