    Ashley from TN Asked

If I am staying in a Disney Resort, can I get my free parking pass before I check in? Can it be mailed to me so I can park at a theme park before going to my hotel?

Hey there, Ashley! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Congratulations on your upcoming magical vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort! I’m so glad to hear you have chosen to stay at one of the amazing Walt Disney World Resort Hotels! With the unique theming and wonderful benefits, staying on property allows you to be immersed in Disney Magic from the moment you arrive!

Ashley, I know just how it feels to want to hit the ground running as soon as you arrive! I have always been able to drive straight to the parks upon arrival and because my hotel reservation is linked in My Disney Experience account and I have my MagicBand with me when I pull up to the parking entrance, the Cast Member there simply scanned my MagicBand and I was good to go. So, if you’re all linked up and you receive your MagicBands before you arrive, you shouldn’t need the parking pass. You’ll still receive it when you check-in, but feel free to jump right into the fun as soon as you get there!

One last tip: Be sure to secure your FastPass+ selections for your favorite attractions early. As a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Guest, you get early access. You can begin making your FP+ selections as early as 60 days in advance!

I hope you have a magical trip! Be sure to come back and see us again soon.
