We are staying on disney property, but some of our party is not (they wanted to save $). We are all meeting at our resort each morning and plan on taking disney transportation to the parks. can the non-resort disney guests take the buses/monorails with us?

    Hi Alyssa!

They are going to miss out on soo many benefits by staying off property!  However, Disney transportation is FREE for all guests of the Walt Disney World Resort.  This includes guests, such as your friends, that are only visiting the parks for the day.  The only downside is that "day guests" are asked to park in the Ticket and Transportation Center or in the parking lot of each theme park.  From that point, they can hop onboard the monorail, buses, etc.  The free parking at the resort hotels is intended only for guests which are staying on site. I hope that you and your friends have a fabulous vacation and I would love to hear from ya again!
