I am staying at a disney hotel on the 12th, my check in is not til 3 but we are going to the parks before we check in. Am I still able to get free parking that day? If so, how does that work?

    Hi Noelle,

Thanks for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I see your vacation is just around the corner, so I'll be brief.

One of the many Disney Resort Hotel Guest Benefits is complimentary standard Parking throughout the whole Resort, including all Theme Parks. But in order to be allowed to park for free, you will first need to Check-In to your Resort Hotel. But did you know that even though your Resort Hotel room may not be ready until 3:00 p.m. you can still Check-In early in the morning and start to take advantage of all the amenities your Resort Hotel offers? You can activate your Theme Park Tickets, any Disney Dining Plan entitlements, and be able to park your car. So I suggest you go to your Resort Hotel first thing in the morning, and then go to the Theme Parks.

One last tip: you may want to do Online Check-In ahead of time. This service will allow you to advice the Resort hotel of the approximate time of day you will arrive, and they will let you know via a text message when your room is ready. You may even be offered to skip the Front Desk and be able to go straight to your room. See you real soon!
