We are staying at disney caribbean resort and i would like to know the best places to eat for a 4 yr old and 8 yr old as well as options for childcare activities? Where is the best place to start with the girls to start to explore disneyworld?

    Hi Cecelia,

The Caribbean Beach Resort is my favorite moderate resort at WDW.  You are sure to love the views as you walk the resort and your kids will enjoy playing in the sand.  I'm traditionalist and think you need to start off your trip at the Magic Kingdom.  Your girls will forever remember walking down Main Street U.S.A. and seeing Cinderella's Castle in front of them.

My daughter (5) enjoyed the Never Land Club at the Polynesian Resort so much during her last visit that she asked to go again the very next night.  It didn't fit our plans, but we did let her go to the Simba Club at the Animal Kingdom Resort a few days later.  At both clubs, she played with other kids and interacted with the cast members working there.  The cost of the stay includes a kids meal.  The meal was a bit small for my daughter the one night and we needed to buy her an additional dinner after picking her up.  Overall we were happy with the club and it allowed my husband and I an adult night out.

The character buffets are always a great options for families.  My daughter's favorites are Chef Mickey's, Cinderella's Royal Table, and the special Playhouse Disney breakfast and lunch at Hollywood & Vine located in Disney's Hollywood Studios.

    Enjoy your trip
