We are staying at 2 different resorts during our next stay. Do we need 2 different Magic Bands or can they be connected? Thanks!

    Hi Anne!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thank you for sending us your awesome question about MagicBands! I hope that you will continue to send us your Walt Disney World Resort vacation questions while planning your upcoming visit.

Anne, you will be happy to know that you do not need two MagicBands during your vacation. All active MagicBands associated to your personal My Disney Experience account share the same reservations, FastPass+ selections, Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets and other entitlements! MagicBands automatically default to “active” in your account. If you receive two before or during your vacation, they will both be active and can be used interchangeably. You do not need to connect them or take any further action. Additionally, if you only want to receive one MagicBand, you can do that as well. I always request one with every vacation because I am a MagicBand collector and love matching my MagicBands with my park outfits, but not all Guests like having multiple MagicBands.

You can always verify that the MagicBand you want to use is active by visiting the MagicBands & Cards section of your My Disney Experience profile.

Anne, if you have any additional questions, please visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel again. We are always here to help you plan the “practically perfect” Walt Disney World Resort vacation.
