Hi! We're staying 3 days Feb 2018. We're planning 3 character meals. Chef Mickeys, 1900 PF(Breakfast) and Crystal palace. Stay at AOA. What would be the best way to plan these if we driving ourselves. We will be doing MK 2 days and AK 1 day.

    Hi Alyssa,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your character meal plan sounds fantastic! I am so tickled for your family!

Since you are doing two days at Magic Kingdom and those three restaurants are either close to Magic Kingdom and/or in Magic Kingdom, I would definitely suggest that you plan them around your Magic Kingdom days. Chef Mickey's is located in Disney's Contemporary Resort, 1900 Park Fare is located in Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa while The Crystal Palace is located in Magic Kingdom. Since you already plan to do 1900 Park Fare for breakfast, I would suggest that you try The Crystal Palace for a pre-park opening breakfast on the second Magic Kingdom day.

Be sure to check the park hours for the days of your visit and remember that all guests can enter one hour prior to park opening to enjoy the shops on Main Street, U.S.A. before the "Let the Magic begin Show." Doing a pre-park opening breakfast reservation will allow you to enter the park before other guests. We love these very early breakfast reservations because we can snap a few quick pictures before the crowds arrive on our way to the restaurant.

Alyssa, both 1900 Park Fare and Chef Mickey's are accessible using the resort monorail and water taxi from Magic Kingdom theme park. You could also walk to Chef Mickey's from Magic Kingdom. Disney's Contemporary Resort is about a 10-minute walk from the park.  If you do a breakfast reservation at The Crystal Palace, then I suggest you do dinner at Chef Mickey's one evening after you leave Magic Kingdom. At Animal Kingdom, you could try one of the quick-service restaurants. Satu'li Canteen is a new restaurant on Pandora. The food is yummy and they allow mobile ordering!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
    Donyell
