We are staying a couple nights at a Disney Resort but bought our park tickets through another outlet. Do we get complimentary magic bands?

    Hello, Peggy!

A huge, warm welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so happy to answer your question today.

As a Disney Resort hotel Guest you are eligible for Complimentary MagicBands. You will be able to customize your MagicBand once your Disney Resort hotel is linked to your Disney Account. Purchasing your theme park tickets via another outlet does not affect your MagicBand or FastPass+ eligibility.

With your MagicBand you will be able to unlock your Disney Resort hotel room door, enter Walt Disney World theme parks you have tickets for, check in at FastPass+ entrances and make purchases while at Walt Disney World Resort!

Mom’s Quick Tip: Peggy, by visiting this awesome link you will be able to learn about all of the Disney Resort hotel Guest benefits available to you!

I wish you an unforgettable Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Please do not hesitate to visit us again if you have any more questions.
