We will be staying at Coronado Springs in Sept. Booked a Std view room. With the recent remodel at this resort, which buildings house the std view rooms? Which one's would be closest to bus and food options?

Welcome back, Jenny! I have stayed at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort twice this summer and while it has always been one of my favorite resorts, I can tell you that the recent enhancements have absolutely made it one of my preferred places to stay. Walking into the Gran Destino Tower just a couple of days ago, I was totally overwhelmed by its beauty and luxury! If you have not yet done so, be sure to make dining reservations at Three Bridges Bar & Grill. My friend and I had the best evening there, enjoying delicious food and beverages while chatting and soaking up the cool breezes off the water.

The standard view rooms at this resort can be found in the Ranchos and Cabanas sections, as well as buildings 1,2 and 3 in Casitas. The standard view rooms in Gran Destino Tower are a separate booking category, so be sure to look for it if you would like a room there. The new bridge over Lago Dorado has really made just about all of the buildings conveniently located to pools and dining. There are three branches to this bridge, which connect at Three Bridges Bar & Grill and spread to Casitas 5, The Dig Site feature pool complex, and El Centro. Any buildings near those bridges will have you quickly reaching all of the dining locations at El Centro and the Dig Site's dining and refillable mug location.

Bus stop 1 has been relocated from El Centro over to Gran Destino Tower, but the other three remain near Casitas 4, Ranchos 6A, and near Ranchos 7B/Cabanas 8A and 8B. I feel like the Ranchos and Cabanas buildings listed here, as well as Casitas 5, hold the best standard view rooms at the resort, as its recreation opportunities and amenities are most conveniently accessible from them. You are able to make some basic location requests during Online Check-In, but if you have a could of specific buildings in mind, I find it best to give Disney Resort Hotel Reservations a call and have them note it on your reservation. Please keep in mind that this is merely a request and cannot be guaranteed.

Thanks for stopping by and please let us know if you have any other questions!
