We will be staying at Coronado Springs. Is it possible to get a cot/couch/etc to accomodate a brother and sister who do not want to share a bed? Or should we plan to bring a sleeping bag!

    Hi Beth

We just stayed at Coronado Springs in December and had a great time. It had been a while since we visited that resort and I had forgotten how beautiful it was.

Unfortunately Disney does not allow any cots in any of their resort rooms. If you are traveling by car you may want to consider bringing a portable air mattress. We do that quite often now that the boys are getting older and like their own space while they sleep. A sleeping bag would also be fine except those floors can get quite uncomfortable and will all you will want to see and do, everyone will need a good nights sleep.

Other suggestions that have worked for us is to put the boys in one bed (dad and son) and the girls in the other. You could also consider moving to a different resort if there is availability. Port Orleans has the option of a trundle bed in some of their rooms and this would offer another bed choice for your family. Hope one of these ideas will help with the sleeping struggles and everyone can get some rest.
