We're staying at the Contemporary Resort - and have 7:10pm dinner reservations at 1900 Park Fare at Grand Floridian. Should we take the monorail there and if so how long will it take? Also, can we use the pool at any hotel (ie the Bay Tower) if we want?

    Hi Penny,

Definitely take the resort monorail from Disney's Contemporary Resort to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort.  There's no faster way to get there.  I estimate that once you board the monorail at the Contemporary, you will reach your destination within ten minutes.  Personally, I'd leave your hotel no later than 6:30 pm so that you have a few minutes to explore the Grand Floridian before your dinner reservation.  You're supposed to arrive a few minutes early for advance dining reservations anyway.

As for "pool-hopping,", it is generally frowned-upon at Walt Disney World.  You will not be able to access the pool behind Bay Lake Tower as only guests staying there have cards to gain access to this area.  However, there are some beautiful pools for you to enjoy at Disney's Contemporary Resort.

Let us know, Penny, if you have any additional questions with which we can help you.
