Hello, I am staying at the contemporary and i have dinner reservations at the polynesian, can i just hop on the monorail and ride it straight through? How long does this take and until what time does the monorail run? Thank you

Hi Claudia! You can definitely just hop on the monorail from the Contemporary and head over to the Polynesian for dinner. From the Contemporary, you'll stop at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) and then the Polynesian. On your way back to the Contemporary, you'll stop at the Grand Floridian and the Magic Kingdom before getting back to your hotel. It should take around 12 minutes or so to the Polynesian, and then a little over 15 back to the Contemporary. The resort monorail line usually runs at least 2 hours after park closing and in the case of an early park close, the resort line will stay open later because of restaurants within the resorts. So you should be fine to get back to your hotel unless you are staying way beyond the restaurant or park closing time.

    Have a wonderful stay!
