Staying CBR. 2 Sons 7 & 4, parents, and hubby. Which "village" would be a good one to request that is close to food court and main pool? View unimportant. Also, what is the correct terminology when requesting rooms that are connected with in

    Hi Amy,
I was just at the Caribbean Beach Resort in December and loved it!

There are two 'villages' you could request that are near to 'Old Port Royal Centertown' (the central building where you will find the food court, gift shop and main theme pool).  They are 'Martinique' and 'Trinidad North'.  Because they are closest to Centertown, they will be considered  'preferred' rooms, and as such will be more expensive.  However this can be really worth it to save you walking time to and from the restaurant - especially with young children!  Make sure you make your preference known by calling and adding that to your reservation.  We have always found that the cast members do their best to accommodate these requests.

If you decide against the preferred room category, know that each village has its own pool and there is also a bus that picks guests up from every village and will brings them to Centertown.

When you call reservations at 407-WDISNEY, you can also tell them that you prefer 'adjoining' or 'connecting' rooms.  Again, they will not be able to absolutely guarantee this, but have them put it on your reservation and they will do their best to accommodate.

Amy, have a magical vacation with your parents, children and hubby!
