I am staying at the Caribean Resort, and have a Chef Mickey breakfast scheduled at 7 AM. It appears that buses will not run until 8 AM, and it is only 13 min by car. Can I walk there? Or, can a rent a bicycle and ride there?

    Hi Jennifer!

I would not advise walking or riding a bike from the Caribbean Beach Resort to the Contemporary Resort for your breakfast at Chef Mickey's for many reasons.   First, there are no sidewalks to walk on and it would not be that safe to walk on the roadways.  Secondly, it is actually quite a distance to walk (while it may take 13 minutes to drive there by car, it would take a lot longer to walk there).  You actually have two options of getting to Chef Mickey's early in the morning.  The first is that Walt Disney World Resorts often will have special early morning buses running for early character dining at the Parks and Resorts. You will have to ask when you get to the Caribbean Beach Resort if these early morning character buses are available and what time that they will be leaving the morning of your Chef Mickey's Advanced Dining Reservation. The second option is to take a taxi. Typically, a one way taxi fare for anywhere on Walt Disney World Property is less than $20.00 including tip.  The taxi will take you directly from the Caribbean Beach Resort to the Contemporary Resort and it is quick.

I hope that your next Walt Disney World vacation is extra magical!
