    Sarah Asked

We are staying at the Caribbean and have a char. breakfast at Chef Mickey's at 7:15 on a day that MK does not have Extra Magic Hours. I was planning on bus to MK then monorail to the Contemporary. Will the busses be running then? If not, how should I go?

    Hi there Sarah,

Buses begin running at 6:30 am for the exclusive convenience of those guests with early morning reservations but you will be cutting it close.  I recommend arriving at the bus stop no later than 6:15 to catch the first bus that arrives, as it might arrive earlier than 6:30.  Once on board, let the driver know you have a 7:15 reservation at Chef Mickey.  Once you arrive at the Magic Kingdom, instead of taking the monorail, I suggest following the footpath toward the Contemporary, as it's only a short 5 minute walk, as opposed to having to walk all the way over to the monorail station and possibly having to wait for one to arrive.  If you depart CBR at 6:30, you should arrive with plenty of time to spare!

Another option, which is the easiest and fastest, would be to take a taxi from Caribbean Beach.  You can call Mears Transportation to arrange for a car to meet you right outside of your building for guaranteed arrival to the Contemporary in less than 15 minutes.  The fare should be about $10 including tip.

    Best Wishes,
