We're staying at Caribbean Beach, but plan to take our Nemo-obsessed boys to visit Art of Animation. I know the pools are for guests staying at AOA; do the playgrounds/Righteous Reef follow the same policy, or would we be able to play on them?

Hey there, Robin! Thanks for stopping by to see us again at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Your plans look great to me, with two of my very favorite spots on your itinerary, Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and Disney's Art of Animation Resort.

When you visit Art of Animation, you'll just love the detailed theming. Feel free to explore, but resort Guests must use their MagicBands for access to the Big Blue Pool area, and that unfortunately includes the Schoolyard Sprayground and Squirt's Righteous Reef. They're all located in the same central area inside the controlled-access gate. Hopefully, seeing their Finding Nemo pals will be enough of a thrill for your little guys. Be sure to check out the Cars, Lion King and Little Mermaid sections of the resort, too. My son especially loves to amble down Route 66 to Radiator Springs.

One other suggestion for your little Nemo fans: if you haven't already planned it, you'll definitely want to check out Finding Nemo - The Musical at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park. It's an amazing show! If you use a FastPass+ selection for it, you can usually nab seats in the front of the theater. The story will bring the actors and their puppet alter egos down a walkway into the audience, and sitting in the front section makes you almost feel like you're part of the show. Totally righteous, dude!

I hope this helps you plan your big Walt Disney World adventure, Robin. Please visit us again if you have any more questions.

Have a magical day, and remember - just keep swimming!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
