We will be staying at the Cabins at Ft Wilderness with a car. Are there any "back door" entrances to the various parks that would be faster than taking a bus or driving to the individual parks? (I know about the boat to MK)

    Hello, J!!!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  I have to tell you my favorite place to stay at Walt Disney World is in a cabin at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort!  You have chosen a truly MAGICAL place to call "home" on your upcoming vacation!

You have definitely already discovered that taking a boat is the best "back door" entrance to Magic Kingdom from Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort.  This route takes off so much time, and the trip is great and quite relaxing!

Now, here is an alternative route to travel to Epcot from Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort.  To be honest, I am not sure how much FASTER this route will be; HOWEVER, this route will save you from taking your car or riding a bus.

    *  To travel to Epcot - Take the boat from Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort to Magic Kingdom.  From there, you can take the Monorail to Epcot.  (Be sure to change Monorails at the Transportation and Ticket Center.)  NOTE:  You can also get to Disney's Hollywood Studios from Epcot by using the International Gateway Exit located between the England and France pavilions in World Showcase and then take a boat (or even walk) to Disney's Hollywood Studios.

If you have other questions, please let us know!

    Have a MAGICAL day!

    Wes
