Staying at Cabins at FW and arrive at about 5 am. Taking the Magical Express to Cabins then want to do breakfast before the park opens. If we go to MK that day, where would be a good place to try for breakfast and best way to get to it without a car?

    Hi Julie,

Since you're arriving prior to check-in time, the front-desk will be able to store any carry-on luggage for you. Onsite transportation doesn't begin that early, but you can ask the front desk if they can bring you to the boat dock in a van.

One of my favorite breakfast locations at Disney is A Buffet with Character at The Crystal Palace. This is located inside the Magic Kingdom, and you can make reservations for prior to park opening. Winnie-the-Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, and Piglet great guests as you dine at this all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet. Transportation can be a bit tricky from Fort Wilderness Resort to the Magic Kingdom in that the only option is a water-taxi (boat). The boat which heads directly to the Magic Kingdom does not begin operating until 30 minutes prior to park opening. If you need to get to an early reservation (up to an hour prior to park opening), you will need to take a different route. In this case, you'll take the "resort boat" (on the right side on dock) which travels between the Wilderness Lodge and the Contemporary Resort. That boat begins at 6:45 AM each day. Head to the Contemporary Resort then walk to the Magic Kingdom. I have done this walk numerous times. It's quicker than the monorail.

A second option is the Trail's End Restaurant which is located right at Fort Wilderness. Enjoy down-home cooking at this all-you-care-to-enjoy breakfast. After breakfast, you could take the boat from Fort Wilderness to the Magic Kingdom.

Please let me know if I can assist further.

    Wishing you magical memories,
