If we are staying in the cabins, is the dining plan still worth it?

Hi Suellen.  It's hard to say whether the dining plan would be worth it to your family or not.  It really depends on the kind of vacationers you are.  If you are the type of family that doesn't mind cooking a few meals on vacation, you might not feel the need or the desire to purchase the dining plan.

Personally, I find that one of the nicest things about vacationing at WDW is dining in the restaurants.  We have found that by experiencing various eateries we can "taste" the magic.  With all the themed and fun options, every restaurant offers something different.

While we do snack on cereal bars and bananas in our room before we start our park days, I am not willing to cook full meals when I'm on vacation.  I do enough of that at home!  We've considered staying in the cabins but have yet to do so.  I can tell you that from my perspective, it would still be worth it to purchase the dining plan.  Your decision though should be based on whether or not you foresee yourself cooking meals and how your vacation time is best spent.  Good luck!
