    Judy from IL Asked

We are going to be staying at the Board Walk Villas. Is there a room location that we should request. Thank you.

    Judy:

Our family just returned from a trip to Disney and a wonderful stay at the Boardwalk!  You're in for a treat!

In my opinion, the best room locales are those with a view of Crescent Lake and Epcot's Illuminations--simply worth every penny!  But a water view room does not necessarily guarantee the body of water will be the lake!

My recommendation is to make a note on your reservation that you want a view of Crescent Lake and if you want to be more specific, ask for odd-numbered rooms from  3001 to 3033, 4001 to 4033 and 5001 to 5033 that offer great views.  If you don't want to pay for the upgrade to a water view, ask for a quiet room.  This might help you avoid one of the rooms overlooking Boardwalk's entrance or the pool.  (If you want to see a map online with room numbers, check out www.willcad.org.  Look under Disney then maps and choose the Deluxe Epcot resorts.)

The more information you can give Disney on what would make your room "best" in your eyes will help them when making room assignments.  I even suggest sending in a fax about 10 days out from your stay reminding them of your request!  They can't always guarantee your request, but if you'll give them as much information as possible, I've found they will do their best!

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
