We are staying in a 2 bedroom villa at Bay Lake Towers in September. If free dining is offered will we be eligible? Also are room discounts ever offered ? Thanks

    Hi Floyd,

A two-bedroom villa at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort is a wonderful place to stay.  It's such a beautiful resort!

If you booked your stay using Disney Vacation Club points, you will not be able to take advantage of free dining even if it is offered during your stay.  Free dining plans are part of a Magic Your Way Package which include reservations at a Walt Disney World resort and theme park tickets.  If you have booked your villa using Disney Vacation Club points, you are not purchasing a Magic Your Way Package and are not eligible for free dining.  Likewise, Disney Vacation Club does not discount the number of points that a particular accommodation requires.  You can add a Disney Dining Plan to a Disney Vacation Club stay booked using Disney Vacation Club points for a cost.  The best way to do this is to call Disney Vacation Club Member Services at 1-800-800-9800.  The cast members there can help you to add the Dining Plan to your reservation.  Be sure to do this at least 48 hours ahead of your arrival.

If you booked your two-bedroom villa using a credit card as payment instead of Disney Vacation Club points, then your stay may become eligible for discounts such as free dining or a percentage off of the price of your room.  To find out if your stay is eligible if you booked using a credit card, call Disney Reservations at 407-W-DISNEY (407-934-7639).  Please be advised that discount offers are only out through June 2013 currently, so you would need to call at a later date to see if your vacation qualifies for a discount.

I hope that this helps to answer your question, Floyd. Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions!
