We are staying at the Beach Club for a week and wondering if we can book a character call before the trip? we have done this for our cruises in the past but not sure if it's available also for WDW vacation?

Hi David! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

One of my favorite things about Disney's Beach Club Resort is how close it is to Epcot. With the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival beginning today, that is the perfect spot to be! I highly recommend evening walks around Disney's BoardWalk as well. It is such a gorgeous and peaceful place to stroll!

Unfortunately, you are no longer able to get a Character call for a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Mickey Mouse and all of his friends are just so busy greeting Guests in the theme parks these days, especially during Mickey & Minnie's Surprise Celebration happening right now! A nice little touch that you can add to your vacation, however, is a complimentary celebration button. Visit the Front Desk once you arrive for your stay at your Disney Resort hotel and ask for a celebration button. They have all different types for anniversaries, birthdays, and first visits, but also a simple one that you can write what you are celebrating. It is a fun little touch that you can wear throughout your vacation (if you choose) and then take home as a souvenir!

Enjoy every moment of your vacation, David! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
