We'll be staying at BCR - Club Level in September with my husband and two kids in Sep. We will be celebrating my son's 4th birthday that week. We're already at the top of our budget. Are there "free" extras for children's birthdays that I can loo

    Hi Angela:

It sounds like you've created and planned a wonderful fourth birthday celebration for your son. Who wouldn't enjoy spending a big birthday at Disney World.

The best tip is to stop by City Hall at the Magic Kingdom, or at guest relations at other parks, and pick up a birthday button and have your son wear it with pride. Many Cast Members will go out of their way to wish your son a Happy Birthday or greet him with a kind gesture to make the day more memorable. You can also let your Resort know that it's your son's birthday when you check in. It's possible, but not guaranteed, the front desk may be able to help arrange some Disney magic for your son, even if it is a simple "Happy Birthday." Also, while not free, consider buying your son a balloon or bag of popcorn on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom. Such a simple treat can often go a long way in making the vacation even more memorable.

    Enjoy this special vacation.
