Hello! Staying @ the BC-First day-lunch at resort- to the pool, and possibly over to Chef Mickeys for dinner. Any suggestions for after dinner entertainment(without entering parks)?fireworks? Time?

    Hi Jennifer,

Hanging out at your resort is a great way to spend your first day at Disney World, especially when you're staying at the Beach Club!  Stormalong Bay is like a mini water park, and it's nice to be able to take advantage of it.

Heading over to Chef Mickey's for Dinner sounds like fun.  If you can see the castle, you'll be able to see the fireworks.  There is a viewing area on the 4th floor of the Tower.  You could also just take the walkway back to the Magic Kingdom and watch from outside the front gates, or take the monorail to the Polynesian and watch from the beach.  The times for Wishes can vary, usually around 9:00p.m. or 10:00p.m.  The calendar found HERE will help you find the exact times.  Just click on the date, and you will be given a listing of all the entertainment at the Magic Kingdom for that day.  If Wishes is not listed, don't panic, it's probably just a glitch in the calendar.

Also, your resort provides some great evening entertainment.  An evening movie is shown at the beach with S'mores for sale.  It's a great way to just relax.  You can also stroll the Boardwalk and enjoy the street performers, then head over to the bridge to Epcot and catch the fireworks from Illuminations.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!
