we are staying at BC and have reservations at Captains's grille at 7:30am. Do you think we would be able to make it to MK for rope drop?

    Hi there, Jessica!

It's my experience that if you are relying on Disney bus transportation, you'll want to leave at least 40 minutes for travel from Resort to Park (more during peak times). This allows for not only the actual transit time from point A to point B, but also builds in a buffer in case you have to wait for your bus for any length of time.

While I can't give you a definite answer, there is certainly a possibility that you can make it to the Magic Kingdom by 9:00 AM for rope drop; the odds will increase if you have your own vehicle or are willing to take a taxi over to the Park.

Make sure your entire travel party is ready to be seated promptly at 7:30 AM. In fact, you might consider arriving earlier in the hopes of being seated earlier if tables are available. Any time you can "front load" into your meal will help on the back end for travel.

    Have a wonderful time!

    See you later, celebrator,
