We are staying at the art of animation-cars suites. Do these rooms have microwaves, coffee makes and ref rigs? Also, how far is the bus and the restaurants? Thanks

    KA-CHOW, Nancy!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am thrilled to answer your great question about Disney’s Art of Animation Resort Cars family suites.

Disney’s Art of Animation Resort family suites include a bedroom with one queen-size bed, one double-size convertible TableBed, one double-size sleeper sofa, a living room, 2 bathrooms and a kitchenette. You will be happy to know that the kitchenettes at all Disney’s Art of Animation Resort family suites come equipped with a microwave, coffee maker, and mini refrigerator. My family loves the family suites at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort because of their size, convenience, and budget-friendly pricing. If you have any children traveling with you, they will get a kick out of the TableBed. My daughter couldn’t believe her own eyes the first time I pulled on the TableBed’s handles to reveal a double-size bed! She had us show her our “magic trick” over, and over, and over again.

Nancy, the Cars area of Disney’s Art of Animation Resort is comprised of three buildings: 1, 2, and 3. Building 1 is by far the closest to Animation Hall — the building which houses the Lobby, Front Desk/Check-in area, Lobby Concierge, Landscape of Flavors dining venue, and the Walt Disney World Resort bus stop. If you are looking to stay at one of the closest buildings to Animation Hall, you should request to stay at building 1 or building 2.

I hope I have helped answer your question. If you have any additional questions for the Disney Parks Moms Panel, we would love to receive them! We are always here to help you plan the “practically perfect” Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

    See you at the Races,
