We will be staying at Art of Animation with a two-year old and one-year old twins. I'm starting to wonder if renting a car would be easier and faster than the bus with three kids and two strollers. Any advice?

Hello Alicia! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Disney's Art of Animation Resort is the perfect location for your little ones to stay at Walt Disney World Resort.

As far as transportation is concerned, I empathize with your scenario. Renting a car would probably be faster than using Complimentary Resort Transportation(depending on traffic) and the parking is complimentary as a benefit of staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, however I would not say it would be easier.

The Complimentary Resort Transportation allows you to bring strollers onto the buses that will transfer you to the 4 Theme Parks, 2 Water Parks and Disney Springs(children must be taken out of strollers, held in laps or placed on seats during transport). The strollers will also need to be collapsed and stowed during travel, as well.

Other than getting on and off the bus with 3 young kids, Complimentary Resort Transportation is the better option, in my opinion. Some will argue that having your own car controls when you can come and go, but with the frequency of buses and closer proximity to the Theme Parks themselves, it is the easier way to go.

There is no "easy" way with 2 strollers and 3 kids, so why add transporting yourself to the list of things to worry about?

Remember to take advantage of the Baby Care Centers located in the 4 Walt Disney World Theme Parks for feedings and much-need quiet areas for little ones to rest. They are a cool, relaxing sanctuary when little ones need a break.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
