We are staying at the Art of Animation March 25- March 31. We are going Chef Mickey on March 29. I was wondering about travel time from the resort to the dinning experience. Our reservation is at 8:05. We will be traveling with a two year old daughter.

Hello and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

What a most MAGICAL dining experience you have selected! Chef Mickey's not only has great food, but Mickey and Friends will make sure to have you smiling and dancing through your meal.  You and your family are going to have a wonderful time.

Resort buses begin running between 6:30 and 6:45 a.m. for guests with early morning dining reservations. Simply head on down to your resort's bus transportation area and look for a bus whose marquee may read one of the following:  character, dining or special.  Just let your driver know that you need to head to the Contemporary Resort.  At least, these are the ones I am most familiar with. Also, do not hesitate to ask your Cast Member upon check-in about early morning bus transportation times.

Now, please note, if the Magic Kingdom is scheduled to open at 8:00 a.m. that day, buses will begin running at 7:00 a.m. in which you will then need to board a bus heading to the Magic Kingdom.  Once you arrive at the Magic Kingdom, you may either take the Monorail System to the Contemporary Resort or take a short stroll which is approximately a 7 to 10 stroll.

Diane's Tip of the Day:  Make sure you have your camera and autograph book handy.  There is always so much excitement when the characters arrive and Cast Members will be happy to remind you when they see your items on your table.

Have a MAGICAL day and "SEE YOU REAL SOON!"
