Hi, We´ll be staying at Disney. We´ll be arriving to Orlando on an international flight after 10 PM. Could you tell me how often the Magical Express leaves at night? If we have any delay we´ll be taking the bus at midnight. Thanks Lucia

Hi Maria! I’m so happy that you brought your question to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting! When flights are booked it means it’s really happening! Before you know it, you and your family will be enjoying a vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort!

Disney’s Magical Express is the hardest working form of transportation at the Walt Disney World Resort. You will be able to get transportation to your Disney Resort hotel 24 hours a day, 365 days a year! No matter when you arrive, you won’t have to worry! The wait time is usually minimal. The maximum amount of time I have waited is about 20 minutes.

The ride from Orlando International Airport takes about 45 minutes and depending on where you’re staying, you may stop at different resorts before you get to yours. Either way, you will be very comfortable aboard the air-conditioned charter style buses. There’s Disney entertainment on the televisions on each of the buses that will give you lots of information as you’re making your way to the happiest place on earth.

Maria, remember that international guests pick up their MagicBands at the front desk of their Disney Resort hotel. Those bands can be customized before your visit. Make sure to log on to your My Disney Experience account to do so at least 11 days before your arrival. Right when you log on, you’ll see the option to “Personalize your MagicBand.” Don’t forget that you can also make your FastPass+ selections 60 days before your visit!

I hope this information is helpful to you as you continue planning! Feel free to visit us here or at the Disney Parks Moms Panel en Español anytime!

    Have a magical trip!
