We are staying in Animal Kingdom Villas the last week of July for 7 days. I only bought 5 day park hopper/water park tickets. Now I'm wondering, do we need to use a ticket to be able to get to the hotel? In which case, I would need two more tickets.

    HI Jennifer!

The Animal Kingdom Lodge and Villas are beautiful! The decor of the resorts is absolutely stunning and its such fun to see zebras & giraffe so close!

No worries about the park tickets - you do not need a park ticket to get to your resort (or any of the resorts at Walt Disney World). Theme park tickets are required to enter the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. Admission is also required for the water parks, DisneyQuest and Disney's Wide World of Sports.

Both Downtown Disney and the Boardwalk are also free to visit. There are lots of fun options at both locations and are great choices to spend a day off from the parks.

I hope this helps! Have a great vacation!
