Hi! We are staying at animal kingdom for one night after our Disney cruise. Any thoughts on estimated arrival at the resort/ park so I can appropriately plan meals and fast passes? Any information will be helpful! Thanks!

    Ahoy, Melody!

It is NEVER easy leaving a Disney Cruise vacation behind, but going straight to the Walt Disney World Resort is the best way to ease the pain of saying see ya real soon to Captain Mickey!

Disney Cruise Line's motor coach transportation to the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels departs at 9:00 a.m. so you'll need to disembark the ship by 8:15 a.m. You can estimate about 30 to 45 minutes for the disembarkation process including passing through U.S. Customs and Border Protection. The ride over to the Walt Disney World Resort is around an hour and once you arrive on property, there may be multiple resort stops. There is no way to know where Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge will fall as it can vary sailing to sailing. My recommendation is to make plans for the afternoon so your transition from cruise to parks is as seamless as possible.

Melody, it sounds like your crew is in for a magical time on both land and sea! If you need further assistance with your plans, please write back.

    Have a wonderful day!
