We are staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and Villas. We made reservations at the Tusker House which is in the Animal Kingdom Park. Would we need to have park entry passes or is the Lodge / Villas within the Animal Kingdom Park?

    Hi Kathleen!

Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is an absolutely stunning resort and I am sure you will enjoy your stay there.  This resort, however, is not located within Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park, so you would need park tickets in order to dine at Tusker House.

Tusker House is located in the Africa area of the theme park, and offers a character dining experience featuring classic Disney characters such as Donald Duck and Daisy Duck  (characters are subject to change).

If you were not intending to visit Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park, you could try to amend your dining reservation to another character dining experience elsewhere.  There are many to choose from!

If there are any other questions you may have, please come back and ask us.  We are happy to help.

    Have a magical vacation!
