    Staying at AKL. On MDE for online check in, it gives two options for room requests, but the next screen shows finalization with room & amenity requests where it shows I've made no amenity request. I didn't see options for that. What is it referring

    Hi Marcie,

    I'm glad to see that you're taking advantage of the online check-in service through My Disney Experience. I'm a huge fan of that service because I think of it like a FASTPASS to start my Disney vacation!

    If I recall, there's a screen that pops up during the online check-in process that asks for room and amenity requests. On that screen, you're given the opportunity to make special requests for things like:

    1) A room near an elevator; 
    2) A room on the ground floor; or
    3) A room in a certain section of the resort hotel.

    After reading your question, it sounds like that screen somehow was inadvertently omitted. Sorry!!

    If you've already completed your online check-in, but would still like to make a special request, it's not too late. You can call Disney at (407) 939-5277 and one of the cast members in the Travel Planning Office can assist you.

    One quick note: The cast members in the Travel Planning Office are super helpful and are always willing to do whatever they can to help you have an awesome vacation. Unfortunately, they cannot guarantee that special requests can be honored. Don't let that discourage you though because it can never hurt to ask!

    Here's a little tip from your buddy Derek:

    Special requests related to your resort hotel room aren't the only aspects of your Disney vacation that you can handle in advance.

    If you should have any special request related to your dining reservations (e.g. dietary intolerances, allergies, or even special events you're planning to celebrate), feel free to call the Walt Disney World Dining Reservation Center and they'll be more than happy to assist you. Their phone number is: (407) WDW-DINE.
