Hello. If you are staying at AKL Jambo House as a DVC Member, can you also use the pool and other activities at Kidani Village? Thank you so much for your help!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Casey!

One of my biggest dilemmas whenever I am considering a stay at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas is determining whether to stay at Jambo House or Kidani Village. While each of these impressive Resorts feature exotic African theming, expansive savannas with African wildlife, and friendly Disney Cast Members, they also have their own unique qualities as well.

Fortunately, guests are able to share and enjoy amenities found at both Jambo House and Kidani Village, including all of the wonderful restaurants, gift shops, pools, savannas, and other common guest areas. The two Resorts are located very close to one another, less than a 10 minute walk at a normal walking pace. Guests also have the option of taking an internal shuttle bus.

Therefore, if you will be staying as a guest at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Jambo House, I highly encourage you to stop by and enjoy many of the wonderful Resort offerings available at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village. While the Uzima Springs Pool at Jambo House is one of my favorites, the Samawati Springs Pool at Kidani Village definitely holds its own and, in my experience, tends to have the added advantage of being a bit more quiet and peaceful.

I also highly recommend a visit to Sanaa, where you can enjoy a meal while overlooking exotic animals roaming the Sunset Savanna. With fresh and exciting African and Indian flavors, combined with the spectacular views outside the floor-to-ceiling windows surrounding the restaurant, it is one of my favorite places to dine.

Wishing you a wonderful upcoming Disney vacation!
