We stayed at Disney's Boardwalk last year and loved it. The one thing that we found to be inconvenient was there was no place where we could refill our mugs ourselves. Are there any deluxe resorts that we can refill our own mugs?

    Hi Terry!

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question!

If you loved the setting and location of Disney's BoardWalk Inn Resort, but would enjoy the additional convenience of being able to fill your own Resort Refillable Mugs, and are interested in trying a new resort, then I have just the spot for you. I highly recommend that you give Disney's Beach Club Resort a try. This fabulous resort is located directly across Crescent Lake from Disney's BoardWalk Inn and features some fabulous recreational options including a sand-bottomed pool and lazy river. As far as refillable mug stations go, this resort has its own Food Court in the Beach Club Marketplace complete with refillable mug stations for hot and cold beverages as well as a second, self-service refillable mug location at Hurricane Hanna's outdoors in the Stormalong Bay pool complex area.

Like you, I really enjoy the ambiance and convenient location of the BoardWalk, but found it cumbersome to head out to the BoardWalk Bakery and wait for someone to fill the mug for me in the past. That being said, the BoardWalk Bakery is currently closed, undergoing a major renovation until the end of April 2013. When the bakery reopens it will feature an expanded menu, a larger entry and queue area, and a Guest Accessible Refillable Mug station! So, If your next visit is planned to be after the renovation, then you may wish to return to Disney's BoardWalk Inn after all!

I hope you'll write me back if you have additional questions.
Wishing you a Magical time on your next visit to Walt Disney World Terry!
