We stay in a WDW Resort (French Quarter). Having breakfast at Chief Mickey at 7:30 AM, I question if transportation (bus and monorail) is available at this time to go to Contemporary Resort. How long does it take and how can we make it.

Greetings Germain!  Welcome to the Moms Panel!  Chef Mickey's located at Disney's Contemporary Resort is my family's favorite Character Dining Experience! In regards to early transportation to your Character Dining Experience, I would recommend checking with your resort concierge the evening prior to your breakfast. There are currently buses available for transporting guests to early morning park and resort dining. The resort concierge should be able to advise you on what time the first bus will be at your resort in order to make your Advanced Dining Reservation on time. Once aboard the bus, be sure to let the bus driver know what time your Advanced DIning Reservation is and the location of your Character Dining Experience so that he/she can make sure you arrive with ample time. The bus ride may vary if other guests are also using the early bus transportation to other dining locations. Normally, the bus ride from Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter Resort to Disney's Contemporary Resort should take no longer than fifteen minutes if you do not make any additional stops. You may also consider taking a taxi from your resort to Disney's Contemporary Resort. Simply check with the valet stand in front of your resort and they can call a taxi for you. This would be the quickest, most direct method of transportation for you. I hope this information helps! Please don't hesitate to visit me again with any additional questions. Best wishes for a magical trip, Germain!
    Happy Travels,
