    Lauren from TX Asked

do you have to stay at a resort to get a dining pass? can they be purchased separately?

    Dear Lauren,

Thank you so much for stopping by to ask us a question here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and we certainly hope that it will be the first question of many for us!

Yes, you do have to be a Walt Disney World Resort hotel guest in order to take advantage of the delights of the Disney Dining Plan, which many families enjoy immensely. You are unfortunately not able to purchase the Disney Dining Plan separately, though of course like everything that is subject to change.

Hope that helps with your magical planning!
