Were going to stay at Port Orleans Riverside, and I already have my park tickets. Can we still buy a meal plan? Also we have 6 adults 3 children, can we pay cash for a meal for one child she is 3 or does she have to have a meal plan.

    Hi there Veta!

I am a huge fan of the Disney Dining Plan and never head to Disney without it!  The Disney Dining Plan is only available to guests who have purchased a complete vacation package including resort accommodations and at least 2 days of theme park tickets.  I think you said that you've booked a room-only reservation...correct?  If so, you wouldn't be eligible to add the Dining Plan.

The only way you could still add the Dining Plan would be to convert your room-only reservation to a vacation package with a 2-day base ticket.  Depending on your unique situation, it may be worth it for you to pay the price of a 2-day ticket in order to add the Dining Plan.  It really depends on the specifics of your vacation.

If you do change your reservation to a vacation package in order to add the Disney Dining Plan, this must be done within 48 hours prior to your resort arrival date, and every member of your party would be required to have the Dining Plan for the entire length of stay, even the 3-year old.

Hope this helps and that you have the most magical vacation EVER!
