If we stay in the Disney Spring area, how far is this from Magic Kingdom?

Hei Hei, Christy! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, where it is our pleasure to assist you with your planning for an adventure to the place where the magic is endless! Because there’s just no telling how far you’ll go!

Christy, if you will have your own vehicle, the Disney Springs area hotels are about a 15-minute drive to the Magic Kingdom parking lot also known as the Transportation and Ticket Center. Once there, you will be magically transported on a ferryboat or monorail of your choosing to a place where you leave today and enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow, and fantasy!

Be sure to allow yourself about 30-minutes to arrive from the TTC to the Magic Kingdom if you drive yourself and park there. If your hotel offers shuttle transport to Magic Kingdom, you might be dropped off much closer to the park, but I still recommend allowing 90-minutes of total transportation time when you are navigating the resort so you don’t feel rushed. When you take into account bus wait times and the actual drive time, it’s best to allow a little extra time so you don’t feel time-crunched during your vacation.

Christy, before you arrive, be sure to download the My Disney Experience mobile app. This handy planning tool will be your best friend when navigating your vacation. Not only will it have all your vacation information, but it also has great information like park hours, maps, attraction wait times, and a helpful GPS tool that can help you as you tour the parks and resort.

Thanks again for stopping by! Be sure to come back and see us again soon. Have a magical day,
